7 tips to prevent Heat-Stroke:

1)    Hydrate your body enough. Drink plenty of water throughout the day, especially in the afternoons when it is very hot and sunny.
2)    Apply sunscreen when venturing out into the sun for long hours.
3)    Do not drink alcoholic drinks and caffeinated drinks before exercise or work-outs, as they cause dehydration.
4)     Do not over-exert yourself in any activity. If you feel tired, take a break and rest for awhile, but chances are over-exertion can cause un-necessary pressure leading to heat strokes or burn outs.
5)    Wear loose, not so fitting clothes, instead of tight ones when venturing out into the heat. This will allow the sweat to evaporate, and have fewer chances for the body to feel suffocated by heat.
6)    Wear a hat, if in the sun for a prolonged time. This will provide some shade and prevent the sun’s harsh rays from causing any sense of loss of energy.

7)    Do not over-exfoliate your skin. Constant uses of scrubs are harmful to the skin and must be used once a week, but not more than that.
